REFLECTION

TASK
The task was a branding project for a food truck selling pasta and smoothies called Luceo's Shack, which was both exciting and challenging. The task involved creating a strong brand identity that accurately reflects the essence of the business and resonates with its target audience.
METHODOLOGY
The first step in the branding process was to conduct thorough research on the business, its competition, and its target market. This included analysing the food truck's menu, location, pricing strategy and overall vision. Understanding the unique selling points of Luceo's Shack helped to stand out from other food trucks and establish its niche in the market.
Once this research was completed, the next step was to develop a brand strategy that outlined the positioning, messaging and visual identity of the food truck. The brand strategy focused on highlighting the quality of the food, the friendly customer service, and the convenience of the food truck concept.
The visual identity of Luceo's Shack was an essential aspect of the branding project. The logo, colour palette and typography needed to be carefully selected to create a cohesive and memorable brand image. The branding elements needed to evoke a sense of fun, energy, and a vibrant atmosphere that aligns with the food truck's offer.
REFLECTION
In conclusion, this branding project for Luceo's Shack was a rewarding experience. As a result of my thorough research, I demonstrated a deep understanding of the business, its audience, and the market. It was very rewarding to see my designs come to life through the signage on the food truck and they worked very well. I received very positive feedback from the client, which was testament to the success of the project. It was also very useful for me to practice my research skills, using customer questionnaires and analysing the feedback. Once again, I was also able to consolidate my knowledge and practise use of Illustrator. For future projects, I could consider offering digital content to the client, such as social media graphics and video work in the form of reels and/or TikTok. I could also suggest the use of a loyalty business card for regular customers.
